This page explains what happens to your information when you read AlienINT. It is written to match how the site actually works, and it was last updated on September 13, 2026.

The Short Version

AlienINT is a static website. There are no accounts to create, no newsletter to join, no comment section, and nothing to buy here.

We do not set cookies of our own, and we do not sell or rent visitor information.

A few outside services do run on the site: Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Fonts, embedded YouTube videos, Amazon affiliate links, and Cloudflare, which serves the pages. Each is described below, along with what you can do about it.

Who Runs AlienINT

AlienINT is an independent publication about UFOs, UAP and related subjects, published at alienint.com. The best way to reach us about anything on this page is the contact page.

Information You Send Us

The only information we collect directly is what you choose to send by email: your email address and whatever you write.

We use it to reply to you and keep it as long as we need to handle the message and our records. We do not add you to any mailing list, because we do not have one.

Ordinary email is not a secure channel, so please do not send sensitive personal information.

Information Collected Automatically

Like every website, AlienINT is served by computers that keep standard technical logs. Those logs typically include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request.

AlienINT is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, so those logs sit with Cloudflare and are handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, roughly where readers come from, and what kinds of devices and browsers they use. This helps us decide what to write next.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google, including your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your location. Google says it does not store IP addresses in Google Analytics 4, but we do not control what Google does with the data it receives.

You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, block cookies in your browser, or use a content blocker. Google explains its side in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

Some pages carry advertising served by Google AdSense, labeled "Sponsored."

Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, and they may show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites. In some regions Google displays a consent message before doing so.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings and opt out of many other ad networks through the industry opt-out page. Blocking cookies also limits ad personalization.

We do not choose which ads appear, and we do not receive personal information about you from the ads.

AlienINT takes part in the Amazon Associates Program, as our affiliate disclosure explains. Some articles include product cards and links to Amazon.

Product images and prices on those cards load from Amazon's servers, so Amazon sees that request even if you never click. Links to Amazon carry our affiliate tag, which tells Amazon you arrived from AlienINT.

If you buy something after using one of our links, Amazon may pay us a commission. Amazon reports what was purchased so it can calculate that commission; it does not give us your name, address or payment details. Once you are on Amazon, Amazon's privacy notice applies.

Embedded YouTube Videos

Many articles include YouTube videos. Each one appears as a thumbnail image that loads from YouTube's servers with the rest of the page, so YouTube sees that request.

The video player itself loads only when you press play. From that point on, YouTube may set cookies and collect viewing data under the Google privacy policy. If you never press play, no player is loaded.

Fonts

The site's typefaces are Google Fonts, delivered from Google's servers. Loading them sends a routine request, including your IP address, to Google, which handles it under its privacy policy.

The search page works inside your browser. It downloads a small index of article titles from our host, and whatever you type stays on your device rather than being sent to us.

Cookies

AlienINT itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Cookies you encounter here come from the services above: Google Analytics, Google AdSense and, once you press play, YouTube.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them will not stop the articles from working.

Articles link to outside sources, including government archives, news sites and video pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your Choices and Rights

The practical controls are the ones described above: browser cookie settings, content blockers, Google's opt-out tools and simply not pressing play on a video.

Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to ask what information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Because the site collects nothing directly, the honest answer will usually be "only the emails you have sent us," but ask through the contact page and we will respond. For information held by Google, Amazon, YouTube or Cloudflare, you will need to contact those companies.

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because the third-party tools on the site have their own controls.

Security

Because there are no accounts, passwords or visitor databases on AlienINT, there is very little here for anyone to steal. The pages are served over an encrypted connection.

Changes to This Policy

If the site starts using a new service or drops one, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We do not notify readers individually, so check back if it matters to you.
